Chuck Schumer just has a way of solidifying the opposition.

On some votes where a few Republicans are leaning to voting against a bill, Schumer will find a way to push them to voting for it.

He rubs his hands in glee, with his big Joker smile, and says, "What are you gonna do now!? You can't get out of voting against this bill. The American people are watching. You are caught in a trap!"

Then, just out of spite, they vote against the bill and the Democrats lose again.

I hope that Schumer steps down as leader after the midterms and retires at the end of his current term in 28.

That seat is AOC's if she wants it.

She would/will be an awesome Senator.

The crowds she drew in Plattsburgh and Glens Falls, tiny cities but red, was very impressive.

I doubt it. Some might attend out of curiosity, but I would bet it's the "choir" showing up to these events.

I doubt they were MAGA.

NY has a lot of unafiliated voters.

AOC drew a large crowd in both places. These are small cities where large crowds do not normally show up.

If AOC were to run for Stefanik's seat, (*this would never happen, nor should it, just saying hypothetically) she'd win it.

AOC has the support to win a state wide Senate seat. If she wants to run for Senator when Schumer retires, it's hers.

the stronger she sounds in hitting back, but always with facts AND some
pretty urban tinged shade. And she is as smart as anyone in Congress -- either party -- and she is beautiful, which kinda helps...

I still would love her to be the first Latina Speaker of the House, but I imagine barring something weird, she will be a US Senator first.

And I am also thinking that a Mark Kelly - AOL ticket might just work in '28, just saying...

of Trump's term. That will mean more BP agents and infrastructure to continue the assault of immigrants, the cruelty, and the racism for at least 2.5 more years. They also refused to pass an amendment that would stop Trump's slush fund.

And what is our response - to blame Schumer? Really?

I wish Dems would wake up and realize we are not responsible for this and to focus on maybe the most corrupt POTUS, Congress, and SCOTUS in US history.

Orange Jesus is winning and we are in-fighting. Dumb in my opinion. ☮
