Just make sure that everything is thoroughly washed before eating it, especially cold veggie salads. Steam veggies in the microwave, except, of course leafy ones like lettuce.

Be sure that all meats are thoroughly cooked. I would not want to eat rare or medium rare beef in today's political atmosphere. It could be completely cooked without drying it out. Maybe cook beef in a broth or sauce. Or just don't eat beef. Too expensive now anyway.
