I am looking forward to the New York Times interviewing ex-wives and ex-girlfriends of every

Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate, and hell, the House of Reps too---
just to prove that their pursuit of Platner wasn't just a right-wing inspired rat-fuck of the Democratic Party!

But, actually ... Yeah I wouldn't mind at all ...
Also kinda like to know: number of bankruptcies, businesses started - failed, jobs started - left, properties owned - time of purchase, civil suits - won/lost, sudden increases in wealth and/or assets, inheritance, foreign holdings?, civic engagement (did the guy ever show up for a little league game - coach one?, volunteer? (someplace other than the gun range?), worship - denomination?, pastimes and hobbies? ...

And, yes - along with that, I don't think it would hurt to hear about past relationships - relevance bearing on character ...
(these people often have things to say - that aren't going to come from the 4th grade teacher, next door neighbor, former classmate .. et.al. )

Or, of course we could all just be content that they are all tabula rasa - springing up fresh from the ground.
Or, .. "I know that guy from TV!"

But of course - we all have our own special little penchants. With me that would be wanting to know more than some guy was a big sports hero at Georgia Tech ... Strange, I know.

'the mainstream media' mostly IGNORES the vast number of
actual sex CRIMES, and sex crimes committed against children,
by Republicans and actual Republican OFFICE-HOLDERS!!!!

I too want to know more about a candidate who’s vying for public office. That renders such a candidate a kind of public property. We need to know as much as we can, for the sake of making an informed choice about a candidate who seeks to represent us, who knows our interests AND knows what turns us off.

And if all the candidate has is a sports background, I’d have to see a HUGE load of further evidence that the candidate was ready for a new “game”.
