(12,259 posts)13. Great toons, BUT is proofreading a dying concept in cartoons these days?
Today's "SUPRISE, SUPRISE"
and yesterday's "Manson"

KS Toronado
(24,315 posts)14. Island paradise suggests this is Ivanka & Jared Kushner.
Doesn't look anything like "Charles Manson" if that's the Manson you are referring to, he always had a beard.
What's this proofreading you speak of?
Totally Tunsie
(12,259 posts)15. If you look carefully, you will see Jared is talking about
the "Manson" he would build on the property. Thus, the reference to Chares.
KS Toronado
(24,315 posts)18. You can't "build" people, you can build a "mansion" though.
Cartoonist simply had a spelling error, much like you accidentally omitted the " L " in Charles.
So those without spelling errors may cast the first stone. Way I speed read, I kept missing it.
Totally Tunsie
(12,259 posts)19. You make my point.
By the way, the missing "l" was to see if you'd notice.
Carry on...
