Not only are they unwilling to admit that Fat Boy is completely UNELECTABLE, they're not even close to admitting that he's completely UNFIT to SERVE IN PUBLIC OFFICE!

The media wants him. In addition, Newt has been around for A LONG time. He is a walking, talking and breathing example of old-school (20 years or so) Republican politics. The public is used to him being a douchebag and consistently putting his foot in his mouth. If he gets the nomination, he WILL have to moderate his rhetoric or he doesn't stand a chance.

I can't wait. If Newt does get the Republican nod, it will be proof that the t-party is over. Like I said, Newt is old-school Republican politics. No matter how he spins it, he was a corrupt politician when he was Speaker, he was then a lobbyist and is now a morally bankrupt individual who wraps himself in a thin veil of religious decency.

12. What outrageous things could he say that he hasn't already said?

If something can derail his campaign, it's saying something less than ultra conservative such as use of the taboo Republican word "humane". But this year, Republican candidates can't talk enough about snuffing people out and the more Gingrich dehumanizes "invented people", talks about making poor children do demeaning work, or about giving marijuana sellers the death penalty the more he gets applauded by the base. This year, I think the Republican party is going out of its way to nominate the unelectable. I think the more he media refers to the collection of clowns Republicans are running, he more the base digs in their heels and loves them. The only way Gingrich could self-destruct with this year's Republican party is by appearing to be sane, which ain't gonna happen.
