(9,483 posts)Especially the ones who power on despite bouts of cancer, back surgery, and many other ills of old age. One of my favorites is a tiny woman who works tirelessly to fight corporations who want every drop of our precious fossil ground water in this desert area.

(29,431 posts)I'm in awe of their patience and strength. When I see one dimensional negativity here, I think: Don't be the enemy they need. Don't trust a bad guide book.
