Yesterday, NBC News reported, and as of this posting, it’s still on their site, that paramedics responded to a cardiac arrest at Sen. McConnell’s residence. I have not seen any reports that he’s awake or alert.

So the question is, is he in a coma or brain-dead ( —insert joke here—) and on life-support? And how is this not a public story since he’s an elected individual? Enquiring minds want to know!!

(And for all you lurking MAGAT’s or other sanctimonious individuals, do recall that Hair Furor positively gloated over the deaths of Rob Reiner and his wife, among many others. Accusations of being ghoulish will be met with verbal howitzers from yours truly.)

I read the blurb twice, because I was wondering how he wasnow.for whatever reason, I processed it as telling the story of what happened to him weeks/months ago. There's no interim appointment by the governor. So Rethugs would be one down in the Senate.
