Plus, I know my husband's gg grandfather, was a US Marshall in the OK territory. Not part of the Choctaw lineage, that was matriarch side.

Part of the family history has been recorded, and most the family registered

For whatever reasons they have, my sons have the paperwork, but as far as I know, haven't sent it in. I'll have to circle back on this, because it's not something we've talked about since their dad died in 2002.
