‘Flaming Homosexuals Wearing Stilettos’ Will Apply For Jobs In Christian Bookstores If ENDA Passes

Bryan Fischer yesterday on his radio program threatened that “flaming homosexuals… wearing stilettos, a dress and dangly earrings” would apply for jobs in Christian bookstores if ENDA passes into law. Fischer, the public face of the certified anti-gay hate group, American Family Association, claimed “the homosexual lobby” would purposely target religious businesses, including “Christian bookstores,” if the Employment Non-Discrimination Act were passed by Congress and signed into law.

Claiming “ENDA would represent the return of Jim Crow laws” in a blog post accompanying his radio rant, Fischer ludicrously rips former GOP vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan:
Ryan today reiterated his support for ENDA, the Employment Non-Discrimination Act.

This is a horrible bill for a social conservative to support since it would mean the absolute end of religious liberty and freedom of association in the marketplace. It would, in other words, gut the First Amendment. It’s shameful for Ryan, who also voted for this Constitution-shredding bill in 2007, to be so blissfully and blindly unaware of the consequences of this legislation.

For Fischer I'm thinking this is less of a dreaded prediction and more of a hopeful wish.

Was 17 in 1973. I was 18. He was the cutest 'girl' ever. He was boy crazy and I liked boys, too. We had a lot in common. My boyfriend was cool with him. He had wild and crazy stories about his adventures. I never had a clue and was so glad he shared his tales. It made me much more aware. He told me he had known since he was 3 that men sparked his interest. I ascribed to the born this way idea, the minute I heard it. I just knew it was not some moral failing. He was so like a woman in a man's body. But he could transform into a cute girl, much better than I could. He was shorter, thinner, had smaller feet and better hair.

Wonder where he is these days?

Either one of them would be a welcome addition to any Christian bookstore that was looking for actual Christian scholars and theologians to staff...probably the sorts of Christian bookstores that Bryan Fischer would never set foot in though, not because they had LBGTQ Christians on staff, but because he'd feel intellectually out-of-his-league among actual Christian academics.
