I love me my Martin Bashir. But if he starts a program by interviewing an expert (ahem) Luke Russert, I just turn it off.

(23,664 posts)We generally don't turn on the teevee machine until 5 pm and puke russert seems to only work the day shift.
So I mostly know him from reading about him on DU and what I read doesn't make me want to make an effort to watch him.

(2,574 posts)Tho Bashir used to make more fun of Luke's stupidity than he seems to these days...so it's getting even harder to watch.
In general kid really should be on Fox News, he seems to be just a very gossipy arch Republican, devoid of either insight or intelligence.
Also he was soo obnoxious to Nancy Pelosi, when he asked her if she shouldn't et someone younger take over for her.
I'm really, really surprised he wasn't made to apologize by msnbc. It was really such a Fox News level admixture of ignorance/arrogance and disrespect from that completely unaccomplished, uncredentialled talking head (legacy) to a respected and accomplished political icon. She handeled it well, but it's amazing msnbc just let little Luke keep on keeping on being beyond useless.
