Military Chaplains handing out anti-Semitc, homophobic Japanese comic book.

I saw a copy of this "Manga Messiah" once.
It's even worse than some of that hentai (x-rated) crap they sell.
[UPDATE, 5:50 PM: the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, in a new press release, states that "these "Manga Messiah" comic books have been distributed liberally across all the service branches and on military bases and naval vessels all over the world including the combat zones of Afghanistan, Iraq, and at many other U.S. armed forces bases in the Area of Responsibility (AOR)."]

I am unsure as to why this is, but it has been a problem for a long time. There are very few Jews in Japan, but they are targeted in a variety of publications. I wasn't even really aware of this until I went to the WWII museum in New Orleans and saw the anti-Semitism campaign launched by the Japanese empire during the Second World War. I went home and started looking up various information. It was a bit shocking.

If the US Army is going to distribute reading material, then it is responsible for its content.
