I don't like Joe, and honestly I'm not a big fan of Mika either. How great would it be if it was Rachel Maddow and Chris Hayes?

(31,464 posts)1. Soledad O'Brien is very good on CNN.
It's not strictly politics, but she is a very tough interviewer. It's a refreshing break when Joe is particularly annoying. Like today.

She's always very well-prepared and does a great job. A bright spot in the morning.

(6,996 posts)2. I think Ron Reagan would be good.
I like Rachel where she is and Hayes can be a little too wonkish for this early morning type show.(Works better on the week-ends.)
How about Ron Reagan and Karen Finney?

The assholes on that channel make Joe and Mika look like Noam Chomsky and Naomi Klein.
