in a single broadcast. I hated pretty much everybody involved. Great fun!
There is no fixing public education. Just like everything else in our society, public ed is a machine and people are not.
Not to mention the even bigger problem that you can't separate ed- related problems from societal problems. If you live in a crumbling, dying empire, where nothing works, what would possibly make you think your schools can succeed?

Fix inequality, poverty, crime, and you eliminate the correlates of poor performance in education.
