Why, New York TImes, why?

I got the NYT app on my phone. Every so often they send out a push notification if something important is happening. Like last November when they called it for Obama. Sandy Hook. etc.

I just got a push notification that Lincoln got 10 nominations. WTF? This isn't news. It isn't breaking news. It isn't even remotely important.

Please stop with the stupid stuff.

1. I don't know if it's news - but I think there is a reasonable expectation on the NYTimes part

One man's entertainment is another man's bullshit, for sure, but please list some things that you do for entertainment so we can belittle them. I don't care for the Oscars or movies in general for that matter, but I feel no need to denigrate people who do.

News is information. Some people would like certain information. Should we run it by you just in case from now on, to see if it's legit? Is the weather news? Sports? Please, tell us what is acceptable as news so we can all change to fit into your narrow views...

people from around the world tune in to watch. Movies are one of our biggest exports, and Hollywood has played a huge role in promoting western culture to the world over the decades.

Well done movies that is. Not pure action films. But you have a point on that it was not breaking news.

Just like the republicans ran against a faux Obama, not everybody who enjoys movies and Oscar night or Grammy night is some sort of Stepford robot. Maybe you could take a step back and enjoy some entertainment, perhaps get a kick out of others recognizing something you enjoy as being a really good piece of art.

Why do you hate art?

IMO people who obsess with Hollywood ...movie and music awards ...stars ...sports ...dancing with the idiots ...american idiot ...what's going on with Linsey and Britney ...flag wavers ...are very shallow and should get their own life instead of worshipping someone else and their life.
