by DAVID BADASH on JANUARY 10, 2013
The CEO of Tactical Response, a Tennessee-based company that provides weapons training and gear, posted a YouTube video in which he threatens to start killing people if President Obamas gun control goes one inch further.
In the video, James Yeager mistakes news reports that the Obama administration is considering executive orders to tighten existing laws and policies with a presidential order to ban assault weapons, which is not possible.

Im telling you that if that happens, its going to spark a civil war, and Ill be glad to fire the first shot. Im not putting up with it. You shouldnt put up with it. And I need all you patriots, to start thinking about what youre going to do, load your damn mags, make sure your rifles clean, pack up a backpack with some food in it and get ready to fight.
Im not fucking putting up with this. Im not letting my country be ruled by a dictator. Im not letting anybody take my guns! If it goes one inch further, Im going to start killing people.
..more..

(21,946 posts)I have been around a long time. Comic books, music, movies, video games..anything that people enjoy doing, playing, reading or seeing has been blamed for violence in society.
Could it possibly be that domestic violence in the home itself which is self perpetuating be the root cause of the violence?

(7,512 posts)Remember Super Mario Bros.? This blue collar plumber just massacring not just one world, but eight worlds full of defenseless Goombas. Let's face it, it's video games like that that are the problem. They train kids to kill relentlessly and without mercy.
Ok, that's too much sarcasm even for me, my brain hurts now.

It is possibly the stupidest thing ever to emerge from the RKBA folks.
If this gentleman is hoping for a visit from someone wanting to ask about his intentions, he's on the right track.

(86,345 posts)he's not only claiming he's going to start killing people, he said he's looking to be engaged in a civil war... incitement, if you will. Those are both in the realm of federal offenses and he'll probably be getting a "visit" and his business put on hold.

This man is a menace and should lose the right to own guns because of his own words and actions. He made a threat to kill people. Take away his guns and never let him have another one.

(579 posts)because he thinks the President is going to grab his precious guns. But when they're brilliant enough to spout their anger on YouTube like this guy, doesn't it ever cross their minds that if there were another civil war they would be squashed into oblivion along with their tiny weaponry? How would they defend themselves from a drone strike?
