I'm sorry. I don't think Obama has anything to prove with "identity" appointments.

All this racket in the media would be appropriate if the administration espoused legislation hurtful to women and minorities. . . or if they had never considered women or minorities for these positions... you know...

I remember years ago that the question was asked what would the world be like if it were run by women. That question was asked because so few women were in decision making positions.
It seems to me a stupid question to ask because we could have more women in decision making positions if there was a will to do it. At least we could get rid of a lot of steriotypical thinking if we had more women and minorities in these positions. That would be a plus.
