National Trauma Poll (2012 Edition) - As of Jan 13, 2013

I posted this thread on December 15, 2012. It is a month later, and I would like to see if opinions have changed. Original Thread: http://www.democraticunderground.com/10021989994

We are all affected by the "national traumas" that occur and are shared both in the media and the national press. 2012 has had a lot of them.

Which one was "the worst" for you? How did it impact your life? What have you done "differently" because of it?

NOTE: This post is intended to be 2012 specific. Thank you!

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
