I am watching Episode 8 of the Oliver Stone

series Untold History of the United States.

What really has stood out so far is Zbiginew Brzezinki's comment "What is more more important to world history, the Talliban or the collapse of the Soviet Empire? Some agitated Muslims or the liberation of Central Europe and the end of the Cold War." (around the 16 minute mark).

Talk about being short sighted.
