Cold enough to have a not so friendly conure cuddle. Granted, the last time we had him being this friendly, we had a quake.

(13,905 posts)It was even colder yesterday. Our water lines were frozen, so no coffee = went back to bed & stayed there most of the day.
The water is kinda running a little today, so I made coffee and I'm up for the day. (freezing my ass off).
No idea what your post is referring to though.

(506 posts)Here on Ohio's Eastern Shore. If it would stay this warm, I would go camping. The weather guessers claim that we will be back to normal temps soon. With the price of heating oil the way it is, I wish it would stay warm.

If it's this cold (~35F) in Tucson, it's probably warm in Anchorage.
If it's warm in Tucson, it's cold in Anchorage.
Almost never fails.(only applies to winter, though always applies in Summer)

Well, on my way to the store this morning, I couldn't help but notice an exhibitionist on the corner, and it's so cold, he was flashing a drawing of himself.

(64,688 posts)I can't even remember when the last time we were below 0. We need cold to kill bugs and other creepy crap.
And we need moisture badly. But not all at once, mind you.

(40,416 posts)Just bought 150 gallons of heating oil today -- I was running low. If I don't have to do that again until autumn, I'd be very happy. My SocSec check only goes so far and I still enjoy eating and having a cocktail or two once in a while. Price was $3.609 / gallon. Yikes! Thank goodness I have great insulation.
It was above 50 this last weekend, but we're getting normal winter cold now. Could get very cold and snowy if things are returning to normal here. Below zero is not unusual. Yet to see it this winter, or last.
Stay warm with your conures, Nadine.
