First we hear about many hospitals (especially in the south) having to close because people aren't paying them because people don't have insurance and can't afford to. Now I'm reading an article that I can't link here because it's a repub site, but now they're saying that a southwestern Pennsylvania hospital will stop delivering babies because they can't afford to due to health care reform.
So which is it? Now they're going to get a guaranteed pay check because it'll be mandatory everyone have health insurance, and because of this they won't be able to afford to deliver babies? How is this worse than when they weren't getting paid at all?
I'm wondering who owns this hospital?
