1. I just realized she beat the 'curse'

We lost Estelle in 2009, Bea in 2010, Rue in 2011, and if there had been a curse it would have been Betty in 2012. Yea Betty.

Her entire career was television (starting with experimental TV in 1939!), with just a bit of radio. Most of the movies she made were 'made for television', in her later years. She blazed the path for the television pioneers.
