Under 'normal' circumstance they are undoubtedly folded down where they better conform to the roof profile.

(2,397 posts)Shows the doors moving with the gun and conforming to the roof profile. My question is why isn't there protection behind the gunner? I would also hope that the doors and potential rear protection would all be bullet proof as the gunner is a highly desirable target...
