Am I the only one who thinks the Mercedes-Benz "Sympathy for the Devil" ad

is seriously weird? Did they listen beyond "...a man of wealth and taste?"

Nazis in the 1930s and '40s (including Benz' use of POW slave labor), I'd say their use of the song makes perfect sense.

I always get a perverse laugh in Los Angeles when I see an African American driving a Benz. My wife and I will look at one another and go "WTF???" But that's just us. I once had a Greek boss who drove a Benz and I gave him shit mercilessly about it. He was sheepishly guilty about it at least, unlike most dumb-ass Americans.

Hey,
I thought it was weird, very weird. Kind of kills that dark song for me. Being a Dylan fan I have had to put up with him having his tunes in commercials...blah.
