3. I can't either. I'm elderly and have made it known loud and clear to

my kids that I don't want ONE day on tube feeding,help with breathing etc.

My health care proxy (a son) is well aware of this.

2. Why don't they let that poor man die. This is sick.

My mom had lots of little strokes after the big one, gradually lost all her physical and mental faculties. We put her on hospice. NO HEROICS. If she can't eat and can't drink on her own, NO TUBES. We gave her happy drugs and she took a few days but she passed quietly.

I am not religious, but if there's a God, he/she doesn't want people kept alive like this when he/she has clearly decided to shut things down.
