at that time we were hoping that Obama was the non-DLC alternative to Clinton.
it turns out that we were wrong.
I wish Teddy was still alive to thunder his disapproval in the Senate.
Instead he died on 25 August 2009 and there is seemingly no liberal leadership to stop the rightward slide of the Democratic Party.
