Another view I saw on MSNBC about the lack of witnesses, I forget if it was Joy's show or Ari's but some of the actual attorneys were saying that one view was that several witnesses that the Managers wanted were indicating that they would be hostile witnesses because they didn't want to be publicly questioned and that's why they settled for getting the statement put in the record. With a hostile witness you can never be absolutely sure what they are going to say and a good lawyer never calls a witness he doesn't know what they will say.

she pointed out on Twitter that McGahn was subpoenaed to testify two years ago and is still fighting it.
