I can't think of a single person who survived due to an assault weapon. Of course none of them saw ground battle in WWII or Vietnam, but that's not what we're talking about.

This man suffers from raging paranoid delusions. He needs medication.

My grandparents, my parents - none of them had assault weapons, and they're all dead now. Hmmmm...
