Can anyone tell me a web address where that is being broadcast? I have tried Whitehouse.gov, MSNBC, KQED, C-Span, and a host of other web sites. Everyone has teasers to make you think they are broadcasting the speech over the Internet, but no one is actually doing it.

(8,159 posts)I was going to record it and watch the speech. Do you have any idea what channel might cover the dog show tomorrow? I am not finding it listed and of course the working dogs are tomorrow.

(1,484 posts).....which is your favorite breed? I really like Golden Retrievers, but I have two house rabbit pets inside my small apartment. They are litter box trained.

(8,159 posts)We have 5 and had lots of fun doing our own showing. Now due to arthritis I am using handlers and not nearly as much fun. Still enjoy seeing our dog show friends at shows.
Goldens are a great breed and part human lol.
Bunnies are adorable, how do you keep them from chewing?

(1,484 posts)The teeth of rabbits continually grow, just like our hair does. If rabbits cannot chew, their teeth will become similar to the saber tooth tiger. In "rabbit land" I always provide for them to chew on, plenty of straw baskets, straw rings, straw balls and anything else that is untreated and digestible. Elsewhere in the house, I have protected all of the exposed electrical cords with a chew resistant casing that can be found in most hardware stores of today. Outside of that, the rabbits have come to learn over time that there are two kinds of chewing materials: "approved" and "unapproved." I have found that it is amazing how much they want to please you by doing the right thing, as long as you present it to them in a positive manner.
There are a number of web sites that will tell you everything that you could ever want to know about how to have a house rabbit as a pet. The one that I am a volunteer with (and naturally I consider the best) is The Rabbit Haven.

You can also adopt a rescued rabbit through them, or find the perfect companion for a rabbit that you already have (they do matchmaking). *All* rabbits need to be spayed or neutered, and you can be sure that, in addition to that, all of The Haven's rabbits are also in perfect health.
If you don't live in Santa Cruz, don't let that dissuade you. Once you have been approved, they will find a way to get the rabbit you have selected to you. Or you can go to your local Humane Society and adopt from them as well. Believe me, the ones that no one else wants, always make the best companion pets.
