Missing the point on Rubio. Who cares about water bottles. Should be talking about this

Maybe he drank the water on purpose to divert attention from what we should be talking about

Rubio one of 22 male GOP senators to vote against Violence Against Women Act

The U.S Senate has renewed the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), with 78 votes in favor and 22 against. According to Think Progress, all of the 22 votes against renewing the Act were Republican men, including rising GOP star, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio (R).

Rubio was touted as just that. Their Token Hispanic who, through his charisma and blah blah blah, bring droves of hispanic voters into the GOP's enormous tent!

The man is good at spouting catchphrases to reporters and leaving. he is photogenic and that is all. Rubio is an empty suit.
The gulp of water showed that being alone, in front of cameras giving an important rebuttal to the State of The Union, he choked and had to lunge for water. The GOP put their hopeful 2016 presidential contender out for all america to see and hear and he blew it. If a camera makes him freeze in fear, what would an attack on 9-11 do?

republican side. He was their up and coming guy. It's not as if anything he said is a complete surprise.
VAWA was renewed. Talking about those 22 asshats won't change that.

He probably figured that if he drank the water during his response, everyone would forget about the VAWA vote and it would be scrubbed from the internet for all of eternity.

... you know, when you're in a job interview and you realized that your pitch isn't selling with the interviewer?

Or maybe someone flagged him that he was responding to a speech the POTUS didn't give.
