I lost my job and I am pissed off.

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by greytdemocrat (a host of the General Discussion forum).

I lost my job and I am pissed off. Really, really pissed off.

You see, I worked in a hurly-burly, helter-skelter environment populated by ham-handed, steroid-driven, incompetent bullies who would utilize barbaric, illegal tactics against innocent people.

So, I blew a much-deserved whistle on those parties involved in said actions.

And because of my noble actions, I lost my job.

I have decided to take action to clear my good name.

I am going to get even with everyone who caused me pain. I mean, really fucking get even.

Maybe I will start by killing their children. Then, maybe, I will take out an innocent bystander or someone who is just trying to do their job. I will probably have to hijack some vehicles, take some hostages and cause some property damage in order to get the media attention that my sociopathic, narcissistic ego so richly deserves.

Then, I will go out in a Blaze of Glory.
C. D.

PS - Actually, I am one Chickenshit Motherfucker. I am such a spineless, gutless weasel that I fully intend to take my own life rather than taking it like the man I will never be.
For those who will cheer me on and support me, may you see me in your nightmares.

Look at the yearbooks, where are they all now
And why they wandered where they did if they're not around
I will look and look and track them all down
And maybe I'll feel better when the last one is found
3000 names on a hit list
Schools are bigger these days, there's so much more to accomplish
It's not a small town 1950's thing
There's more than 39 people's whereabouts to obtain
And I can't compensate for what is real
You are all responsible for the way that I feel
The after-effects were never part of the deal
The more I look back at them the worse I feel

1-800-273-8255 to discuss your plans with somebody who can help you. I don't think you really want to do what you say. I think you joined the police force because you wanted to be a force for good, because deep down you are good and want to be do good.

So I think your pain is talking when you say you want to punish people by killing their innocent children. That's not the real you, that is just your pain talking.

And I think your pain is about more than losing your job. Many people lose their jobs every day, including whistle-blowers. But they don't want to kill innocent people as a result.

So I think there is more going on than you losing your job. And the people at this number can help you figure out what is really causing your pain, and can help you fix that. You are at heart good person and I think your heart is broken. But even with your heart broken, I think you would feel terrible about deliberately causing innocents pain. And because you are at heart a good person, deliberately causing pain in others -- even those who have harmed you -- will not relieve your own pain, it will only make it much worse.

So please call this number. Here, you can use my phone. I'll sit here with you if that will help. I promise you it will make you feel better. If I'm wrong, you can always follow your plan later. But please try this first. Please let me help you.

Dorner was a far more complex person with far greater problems than the caricature presented in the OP. There is at least one person on DU who met him personally many years ago through someone they both knew well, long before he had degenerated to this degree.
