Byron Dorgan was also interviewed and reminded viewers that the problem has not be fixed, status quo has been allowed to remain and on we go headed for another bigger financial disaster I think.

12. This was and is my biggest gripe

I think that a bigger financial disaster was averted thanks to the stimulus. But the fact that the money was just handed over without any strings attached, and without an investigation into figuring out who was responsible and removing those players from the game has planted the seeds for the next cropper. And this was a bipartisan effort not to piss off the Big Money Boyz on Wall Street, with plenty of blame to attach to congressional Republicans, Democrats and the administration.

Thanks!

btw..I found out if I download the videos and watch them in my puter's video player, the quality is tons better than watching on the sites, even on YouTube and they download faster than if I were watching on line.
I use an app called Download Helper.

Netflix carries a slightly similar title,
Frontline: Inside the Meltdown

but is not the same one.

8. Did you catch the viewer phone call featured at the end of the program?
Mon Jan 30, 2012, 12:04 PM

The caller didn't seem too concerned about the economic disaster and the causes, actual people and policies involved etc, as she was concerned about exposing our team players in a negative light. She sounded like a rabid and ticked off freeper. Moyers response was very well done.

14. Yes, she was an obama supporter, but she *sounded* really irrational
Mon Jan 30, 2012, 10:27 PM
Jan 2012

she was more concerned that Moyers exposes would put Republican's back in power than getting at the root of the issues, so that we might have a better, more thorough understanding of what the hell has been going on..

I've come to a place where I'm thinking the change we all seek isn't going to be happening anytime in the near future.

And that both angers and saddens me a great deal, especially for the future my grandchildren who are quite little at the moment, but won't be for long.
