I am soooooo sick of early morning blah blah blah....somewhere

there MUST be a smart TV producer who gets it....

The same faces and voices over and over and over with nothing new or engaging or smart need to be challenged, can be challenged and should be challenged.

With the million and two cable stations available you would think SOMEONE would seize the ripe opportunity.

1. The NEED exists, the opportunity is there,

viewers will watch the commercials and buy the products, we are hungry for it. Someone with intelligence pay attention!!!!!!!

3. Cable changed morning programming dramatically. The Morning Joe model, roundtable discussions,

political content driven, has proven to work.

However, the tremendous ego driven element....layered with same old over and over guests is fast becoming so stale and predictable..boring.

7. I guess TV producers see that viewers are complacent and no need to challenge. Darn it.

2. Well if you have Direct TV go over to Current tv. They have 2 back to back news shows

on radio tv. Both are informative and funny. Bill Press is on first. I kinda like Stephanie Miller who is on second. Sometimes callers and funny and nutso but she really handles it great. I dropped MSNBC in the morning because it's all bs.

5. Thanks. I am thinking of programming that has a higher production value. The type that

would get the casual viewer to tune into and leave on in the morning.

8. Well I find it very informative and entertaining at the same time. We watch it every morning

instead of GMA,Today show or MSNBC, CNN or god forbid Fox News.

4. Amy is live now

talking now about an "Interrogation center" at Yale, where they do research for the Army, using Middle Eastern immigrants as guinea pigs. Something tells me that Morning Joe won't be covering this...

6. Amy is the best! My rant is more about the type of programming to challenge

mainstream early morning talk.

9. Amy needs to broken into 15 minute chunks,

it's a little too much to take this early in the morning an hour at a time. Don't want to get the blood boiling too early in the day, ya know.

Outside of local traffic and weather it has everything you need to know.
