(14,177 posts)The owner of the magazine wasn't charged? WTF???
sadbear
(4,340 posts)I mean, as long as we don't blame the guns, blenders and juicers could kill people, right?
We also can't say he should be charged apparently either since he had a conceal can carry permit. I am still WTF over that.

(155 posts)That guns going off because they are near the oven/stove is no uncommon. People dont think about the heat and the bullet firing. Why the person in this story put ammo in the oven I have no clue.

Also, who makes waffles in an oven?

(53,032 posts)"Sandy wasn't charged because he had a proper concealed weapons permit, The Tampa Tribune reported." What does a concealed permit have to do with recklessly storing ammunition and thus enabling someone to be shot?
Kalidurga
(14,177 posts)Apparently this happens more often than we would think.

People in Florida say "all the nuts roll down to Florida." Personally, I think the sauna like weather conditions down there kill brain cells, something that might also be at work in Texas.

(55,445 posts)Seriously, am I the only one who thinks this was intentional? Maybe a jackass prank gone bad? Because no one is this fucking stupid....
Fresh_Start
(11,330 posts)his idea of storing it safely by separating the gun and the ammo....

(14,910 posts)There goes that theory that gun owners claim ammunition won't cook off in a fire.

The lawyer for the waffles had no comment at this time.

(26,355 posts)Yes, Virginia, if you get a loaded gun or its bullets hot enough, they'll cook off.
We all wonder what kind of idiot would leave a gun or bullets in the oven (for safekeeping?)
