(25,406 posts)Passing the amendment would not affect anyone's free speech unless legislation was passed to that effect. This amendment would allow Congress to ban or limit corporate expenditure to support or oppose candidates.

(11,804 posts)Money should not be speech. I'd favor a constitutional amendment calling for complete public financing of campaigns and redistricting to be done in a more just way so that people's votes actually matter.
