And if you think that's not obvious enough, I'll go even further and guess that the guy has been a part of (or runs) the Vatican's intelligence agency, and he's as clean on the kiddie front as those guys can be.
The next Pope is going to have the same job George H. W. Bush did when he ran the CIA: destroy all incriminating evidence of past crimes, excommunicate everyone who dared draw attention to those crimes, and find a way for his people to keep committing those crimes, with less disclosure and visibility.
