once you build an aircraft carrier it keeps costing you money, it does not generate income.
However, if you spend these monies on infrastructure such as wind farms, they generate income and jobs far into the future.

Not for you or I, per say, but the Bush's did quite well with "their" aircraft carriers. They made a lot of 1%'er richer than they have ever been, by using "their" military to support corporate interests overseas. Peace. BUSH CRIME FAMILY: Playing with their toys.

During LBJ's time, the choice was succinctly described as "guns or butter."
The clear implication was that choices have to be made and that you can't have both.
That is still true.

Today its 60% of the military budget.
Where is the outrage???
