Except for the end of the vocal, what was so funny?

I must have missed some context (I haven't watched a movie in years).

I didn't hear any 'music' there.

Just really bad vocals applied to a joke of a 'song'.

I'm not into parody.

I have always considered "Dust in the Wind" to be a joke on music 'fans' (short for 'fanatics').
