(37,648 posts)I don't watch much network tv. And I don't watch reality shows much, or crime drama. Never seen CSI. Saw one Law and Order years ago. But at least I've heard of those shows. Strange. Usu. I hear people talking about popular shows. I've never seen American Idol (I'm proud of that!), but I know what it is - people talk about it, I see clips of it on other shows, etc.

(37,648 posts)So it's not the #1 show, and because no one is watching it is why I haven't heard of it. Poor ratings don't mean it's not good, though. Sorry, if you'll miss it.

(4,252 posts)I like the show. We were wondering. The Golden boy was confusing. Found the background noise louder than the voices.
Vegas is very nostalgic .

(10,602 posts)If a show does not hit big right away in the schedule the shirts end it or move it around. It is all about the money and ads. They also put the best shows against each one and end up killing off one or two good shows in the process.
They are always looking at the lowest common denominator. Look at all the reality garbage they are putting out because it is cheap to produce. "Undercover Boss", "Shark Tank", "The Apprentice" etc. give me a break.
The way the shirts run the networks they kill off more good shows than they create. And they dumb down the viewers as well. Don't expect much from the shirts because they are corporate goons.
As far as Vegas goes it is under consideration for cancellation because it is not getting enough viewers. It is "on the bubble" because it was not doing much better than "Unforgettable" which was recently renewed.

(103,856 posts)I miss the good old days with 39 first run episodes all run in order..
If they cannot commit to a full run of a series, then just make it like the Brits do.. make them 90 min-2hr and make it mini-series style..
It's no wonder people lose interest.. Castle is a re-run every other week and then off for 2 weeks..

(22,308 posts)Sorry if that seems shallow but I was 15 when that show premiered. You can't really blame me, can you?
P.S. The Magazine cover is from 5 years after the show premiered.

(43,182 posts)2 Broke Girls is the seventh highest ranked television show in the country?
Lord help us. That has to be the most painfully unfunny sitcom that I've seen in a long time. My wife watches it--the laugh track is so incredibly forced for the "jokes", and the writing is pathetic.

(9,463 posts)earlier that almost everyone I know is stupid. That show's ratings are proof that the stupidity goes far beyond my limited number of stupid people.
