I can't recall any mainstream country single sung by a female (maybe not since Loretta Lynn's The Pill but Loretta was no liberal.
Kacey is 100% liberal.

"Merry-go-round" which also takes a pro-pot stance, and a very anti-church, in a very clever and cynical way.
So much so that probably the vast majority of regular country music listeners don't realize she is pulling one on them.

Might just be the most liberal song about small time life since Tom T Hall wrote "harper valley PTA" and Hall is one of the most liberal Nashville country signers ever
