Molly Ivens - still making sense!

'Let me start this discussion by pointing out that I am not anti-gun. I'm pro-knife. Consider the merits of the knife.

In the first place, you have catch up with someone in order to stab him. A general substitution of knives for guns would promote physical fitness. We'd turn into a whole nation of great runners. Plus, knives don't ricochet. And people are seldom killed while cleaning their knives."

Richards lost in Texas.

Dogs are a good SD measure. But they shoot dogs, don'y they?

Ann was a good governor, and a good person (had a few brews, et al, with her. I liked Molly as well. Neither knew squat about the gun issue and how it would come back to bite them. Funny writing, though.

to be a "pro gun progressive"* on a Democratic discussion board.

The vast, vast, vast majority of liberals and progressives - and Democrats, actually - agree with Molly Ivens and Ann Richards, not Wayne LaPierre and the NRA. But, then, you knew that.

I've heard a lot from a few about how they are the definers of the true progressives. I haven't much about your stuff. Are you progressive, or just some self-righteous inquisitor on a stool? What have you got? What have you done? What do you believe?

Get back with your portfolio.

I wouldn't know where to begin. You have gotten a good start, however.
