NEW YORK, NY Dreams, Hopes & Wishes
I'm the person that released the now famous Mitt Romney 47 percent video. I'm a regular guy who cares about social justice and the future of the United States. I shot the video and shared it because it was important for citizens to know the full truth about a man who had a chance of becoming president. If you appreciate what I did, please consider donating to help with my current and future legal expenses.
Any funds left over will be used to to help me go back to school.
It's always been my dream to attend law school. I'd like to be a socially responsible lawyer who can help the 47 percent navigate our legal system. Thank you for your donations!

(3,868 posts)The donations are coming in but rather slowly at this point in my opinion. I think the pace will pick up as more folks learn about the fund. So far he has 350 donations. I caught some additional interviews and he did a great job in all of them.

I'm wondering what legal expenses he would have?

(24,411 posts)He obviously did it for honorable reasons.
I think he is worth a donation. Seriously. He helped Obama win the election, by exposing Romney as the
elitist, narcissistic, liar that he is.
I will donate.

Like Luke Skywalker becoming a Jedi--Scott Prouty will become an attorney.

(3,672 posts)He's actually had the site since Nov. There are links, his picture and twitter handles, etc
I've been following him for a few months when he was anonymous and that handle is still good. Just go to the site and check it all out

(3,672 posts)I got his original twitter handle from Jimmy Carter's grandson the day after he told the story of finding the video and have been watching the whole thing unfold for months
So, I have no doubt it's him

(26,525 posts)I just discovered my OFA donations - their site, I believe - was hacked.
I scheduled $15 /month donation. They just took the $15 SIX TIMES over the past 31 days - $90 / month instead of $15.
I had my bank cancel my debit card so I can start over.
Lucky they didn't take more than that...

"According to the American Bar Association, there were 1,128,729 resident and active attorneys in the United States in 2006 and 1,143,358 in 2007."
Do we really need that many? Does Newcastle really need another lump of coal for Christmas?

(21,646 posts)for those interviews and I am sure the catering company that employed him will now lose business and would like to sue him for that loss plus he has people at his door harrassing him so he needs security
The rest will go to helping move on to another career
As many a whistle blower knows you often blow you chances of future eployment too in the industry
i know someone who blew on the paint industry -noone in that industry would hire him
He went back to school for social work at age 35
