Don't we have forums and groups for all of these?

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by EarlG (a host of the General Discussion forum).

The multiple threads on benevolent sexism, the multiple threads in reaction to those other threads. It's bad enough that gun threads have been let out of gungeon for so long, do we really need multiple flamewars going on in GD over gender issues?

All post about E Warren go to the E Warren group.
All post having anything to do with LGBT go to the LGBT group.

General discussion is here for a reason. And talking about misogyny and sexism does not need to be relegated to the feminism forums as you request.

"It's bad enough that gun threads have been let out of gungeon for so long"

Please finish that statement about the sexism and misogyny education threads. Seems it was right on the tip of your tongue.

Are you not seeing the same redundant "hold the door open for a woman", "take my hat off when addressing a woman" threads, ad nauseum, that the rest of us are?

I meant unfortunately, because the topic has long ago reached silliness and has wasted space in GD. But anyway, that wasn't my point.

If you care to go back and check which post I was responding to, you will see that what I wrote to redqueen was more about, I am NOT seeing a childish aversion to discussing sexism in this OP.

I'll stick to the TWO substantive threads about benevolent sexism. Too bad, though, that they are cluttered with the misdirection of door opening. It reminds me of the discussions I used to have about the Equal Rights Amendment... somehow it would end up being a discussion about the scary prospect of unisex bathrooms.

Threads you don't like can be trashed or simply not opened. That the threads have lots of replies indicates that they are of interest to at least some DUers. I dunno, but "General" is a pretty broad category, it seems to me.
