for a defendant.

glad he did so, at least a small portion of the "crew" can receive their punishment.
but, I'm guessing he's still covering up for the others involved?

since you are covering up for others you scum, after you serve your sentence whatever it is, you'll still be guilty of ANOTHER crime.

Not sorry they raped a girl (they don't think they did). Only sorry that they got caught and made the football program look bad. Little pricks. Every woman and girl in the world should know these faces so that nobody ever, ever, ever is tempted to have sex with them.

They are sex offenders. They are rapists. They are disgusting excuses for human beings. I begrudge them the free food they'll be given to eat in prison.

Of course, in Fred Amadallah's jail, life may not be so bad. More's the pity.

He doesn't think he did anything wrong, and he probably never will. As for the tears, they are probably genuine. He is probably very sad that he is going to prison and will miss several football seasons.

If I weren't so jaded, I would be incensed at the arrogance and sense of entitlement.

"My life is over" is the sentiment of someone who has no life other than football. I wonder whether it's sunk in that he and his cohort are now registered sex offenders.

An intelligent person, now that would make you think twice. Entitled football assholes, not so much.

The recovering alcoholic father seems like he has genuine empathy and a soul. I hate to think that his child may be without empathy, and without the ability to feel remorse. This is indeed one of those "they're not sorry, they're sorry they got caught" situations.

Sad all around, and I hope like hell the poor victim is getting really really REALLY good counseling that is paid for by someone other than her parents.

He may not get it, but I think that this case has an opportunity to show that it's not okay to assault a drunk (or drugged) woman, even if you're a big deal.

But I suspect that when he gets out of juvenile detention he's going to find that it's hard to get a good job or into a good college with this on his record. Maybe it will sink in then that he did this to himself.

doesn't entitle you to play a field off on young girls. Girls I hope and pray they realize that drinking underage bad things happen to you. Always be aware of your surroundings. Young men when you see a young girl not in the right frame of mind don't touch her. Get her girlfriends to sober her up and take her home. This drunk fest should never have happened. Best way to avoid this is not put yourself in a place where idiots drink and act like assholes.

That's his claim. He was convicted of the rape. By apologizing for the pictures, he's essentially saying "I still dispute that this was a rape. This was consensual sex, but we shouldn't have sent pictures of it, and that's what the victim is really upset about."

Obviously, he's a turd, but his statement is consistent with what he's been saying.
