he said they were face value. (and that was in really good, uncertified conditions)

condition no evidence it was ever even folded in a wallet. I think a dealer offered me a couple dollars for it.

You've said condition sucks, so unless they are really rare, such as having interesting serial numbers or stars in the serial number, they are probably best just as curiosities. Of course they do have face value. FACE!
