If the Senate/House were demographically statistically accurate,would USA be better?

Another thread got me thinking about this.

If there were the same demographics in the US Senate and the House as there are in the United States, how much better could it be.

(That would mean more than half of each would be female, and that every minority/ethnic block would hold true to the population at hand).

The minorities would certainly be better off if they had someone to bargain for them.

of the house and senate should match the demographics of the entire U.S. or if they should match the demos of the state and district they represent?

districts can be redistricted, but there could be situations with unintended consequences. The demographics of districts (not necessarily political leanings) can be significantly different within states.
