But then who expected a serious discussion of actual proposals for reducing gun violence...or even a bit of sanity? It contains exactly what we've come to expect from a Wayne LaPierre article:

(16,230 posts)The things they're saying are just so ridiculous and so obviously intended as manipulation, that it's hard to believe that they're for real rather than a parody, yet they are clearly for real.
"King Pinocchio"? Seriously? They really need a better PR team, and I hope that they don't get one.

It looks like the Gun Owners of America is stealing NRA's more hysterical members, and this cover represents NRA's opening salvo in their outnut-GOA campaign.
