Who know how many millions spent in litigation against other non-profits for using the word "cure" and the color pink...
Komen is doing some good, but it's administrative and fundraising expenses are astronomical in scope.

The dollars goes to PP and other local breast cancer foundation - including the Denver's SGK who broke away from the national foundation and continues to fund local PP's here in Denver (which is the right move, btw)

if Komen hadn't tried to make this about politics, they could have kept their nice little scheme going as usual - but now they are being exposed - serves um right for deciding to try and control women, instead of helping them.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
