George W Bush's Lie-bury

More Truth from Coleen Rowley:

George W. Bush’s Lie-bury

As minor African despots are dragged before the International Criminal Court, ex-President George W. Bush remains free, despite having committed major war crimes like torture and aggressive war. With the blood of hundreds of thousands on his hands, he will now celebrate his presidential library, Coleen Rowley notes.

By Coleen Rowley
ConsortiumNews March 28, 2013

A recent news report asking “Where is Dubya?” found the former president totally unengaged, spending his time painting strange portraits of himself in the bath. In what seems to be a weird personal attempt to emulate Winston Churchill (but more reminiscent of Marie Antoinette playing shepherdess in her last days), the former president calmly ignores the sickening truth that slowly but surely emerges about his administration’s crimes as well as recent UN demands that U.S. leaders be charged with war crimes.

Ben Emmerson, the lead special investigator, recently described to gathered UN dignitaries a setting of self-approved legal immunity among U.S. and UK national leaders. He called the two governments’ standing policy, “A policy of de facto immunity for public officials who engaged in acts of torture, rendition and secret detention, and their superiors and political masters who authorized these acts.”

So the hard task will clearly fall to George W. Bush’s soon-to-open Presidential Center to re-fashion history and create the legacy of the great “Decider” who, with neo-con help, so longed to be a “war president” that he decided to illegally and recklessly launch a “war of choice” (otherwise known as the illegal and catastrophic war of aggression upon Iraq based on false premises).

The new Bush Library will undoubtedly also credit their namesake with the idea of initiating the “global war on a tactic (GWOT)” that, despite a recent bipartisan congressional bill to end it, teeters on the verge of being made permanent. Bush’s successor having cleverly re-named it, then stretched and expanded GWOT to so many new countries that it now has come full circle under rhetoric of “keeping us safe” from foreign enemies that it now targets U.S. citizens for what could possibly be indefinite detention and assassination and includes the U.S. as part of its ever-widening global battlefield.

(Though to be fair, Bush already had established those principles with his military detention of alleged terrorist and U.S. citizen Jose Padilla, arrested and imprisoned on U.S. soil as an “enemy combatant.”)

FBI agent, Whistleblower : b. 1954

"What if you lived in a country where, after the Administration negligently failed to prevent a major terrorist attack, they deliberately exploited everyone's fears and utilized shock doctrine to do INSANELY stupid and dangerous things: things like launching costly pre-emptive wars, subverting law, and destroying the checks and balances of the Constitution and common standards of decency by re-instituting torture? Well, We DO live in that country."

My 2-cents:

Coleen Rowley is a great American, a true Patriot.

People ARE afraid to protest. With good reason, as history has shown us.
People who asked about the mysteries surrounding the assassination of President Kennedy ended up dead.
People who protested the war in Vietnam ended up surveilled and blacklisted.
The FBI leadership tried to destroy Martin Luther King, Jr.

Today, Uncle Sam has turned the CIA and NSA on the We the People -- in violation of their charter.
People who gather in private homes to protest the Iraq war are infiltrated by undercover police.

That's NAZI.

If Rowley's bosses in Washington had listened to her and her fellow FBI agents, who knows? The attacks of September 11 may never have happened.

4. Not all. Abraham BOLDEN, the first African American SS agent on the White House detail got framed...
Fri Mar 29, 2013, 02:14 PM
Mar 2013

Secret Service agent Abraham Bolden reported overt racism by his fellow agents and outright hostility toward the "n------loving president," quoting fellow Secret Service agents on the JFK detail.

Abraham Bolden speaks at JFK Lancer.

The story of a man who told the truth:

After 45 Years, a Civil Rights Hero Waits for Justice

Thom Hartmann
June 12, 2009 11:52 AM

A great miscarriage of justice has kept most Americas from learning about a Civil Rights pioneer who worked with President John F. Kennedy. But there is finally a way for citizens to not only right that wrong, but bring closure to the most tragic chapter of American presidential history.

After an outstanding career in law enforcement, Abraham Bolden was appointed by JFK to be the first African American presidential Secret Service agent, where he served with distinction. He was part of the Secret Service effort that prevented JFK's assassination in Chicago, three weeks before Dallas. But Bolden was framed by the Mafia and arrested on the very day he went to Washington to tell the Warren Commission staff about the Chicago attempt against JFK.

Bolden was sentenced to six years in prison, despite glaring problems with his prosecution. His arrest resulted from accusations by two criminals Bolden had sent to prison. In Bolden's first trial, an apparently biased judge told the jury that Bolden was guilty, even before they began their deliberations. Though granted a new trial because of that, the same problematic judge was assigned to oversee Bolden's second trial, which resulted in his conviction. Later, the main witness against Bolden admitted committing perjury against him. A key member of the prosecution even took the fifth when asked about the perjury. Yet Bolden's appeals were denied, and he had to serve hard time in prison, and today is considered a convicted felon.

After the release of four million pages of JFK assassination files in the 1990s, it became clear that Bolden -- and the official secrecy surrounding the Chicago attempt against JFK -- were due to National Security concerns about Cuba, that were unknown to Bolden, the press, Congress, and the public not just in 1963, but for the next four decades.

SNIP...

Abraham Bolden paid a heavy price for trying to tell the truth about events involving the man he was sworn to protect -- JFK -- that became mired in National Security concerns. Bolden still lives in Chicago, and has never given up trying to clear his name.

Will Abraham Bolden live to finally see the justice so long denied to him?

After the assassination, he went to Washington on his own dime and reported what he saw to the Warren Commission. For his trouble -- and despite an exemplary record as a Brinks detective, Illinois State Trooper, and Secret Service agent -- Bolden was framed by the government using a paid informant's admitted perjury and spent a long time in prison. The government also drugged him and put him into psychiatric hospitals. His real crime was telling the truth.

The truth is something more people should try.

She knew where they were and what they were training for and yet was repeatedly ignored by her superiors at the FBI as they were ordered by the criminal Bush admin to "lay off the Saudis".

Also, the brainwashed contingent of the DU "sales team" should read what Rowley wrote in the above article:

"I plan to participate for a lot of reasons but most fundamentally, from having spent 24 years as an FBI agent working in the criminal justice system always and inherently focused on looking backward to solve the worst crimes, I understand the true purpose of Obama’s ridiculous “only look forward” cover-up was to continue, make worse and even expand upon Bush’s illegal wars, war crimes and war profiteering."

This communication is classified SECRET.

Nature of Investigation: International Terrorism_________

Request of Minneapolis: Minneapolis requests that the Foreign Intelligence Security Court (FISC) issue a search warrant for the personal effects and, residence of captioned subject on an emergency basis.

(U) Investigative Background

This investigation was initiated after Minneapolis received information from Timothy Nelson, employed by Pan Am International Flight Academy, ___________telephone _______, that he and co-workers were training a student they considered suspicious.

Pan Am International Flight Academy’s Eagan Facility is a fully accredited flight training center which uses flight simulators to train airline pilots form all over the world. Training conducted there consists exclusively of initial training for persons far advanced in becoming airline pilots. In both cases the typical student holds a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) rating or foreign equivalent and has at least two thousand flight hours.

Nelson indicated that Zacarias Moussaoui, who met neither of the above criteria, had been in contact with his company’s headquarters in Miami, Florida and had paid $ 8,000 - $ 9,000 dollars in cash for training on the Boeing 747 Model 400 aircraft simulator.

What set Moussaoui apart from all other students in Nelson’s experience was that he had not aviation background, and to Nelson’s knowledge, no pilot’s license. Nelson also considered it odd that Moussaoui indicated that all he wished to learn was how to take of and land the 747 Model 400, giving the reason that his was an “ego boosting thing”. At the time Nelson called Minneapolis, Moussaoui had already received two days of classroom training and had been schedule for 4 -5 upcoming simulator sessions over the course of the next few days. Mousssaoui had received his ground school instruction from a contract instructor named Clarence Prevost, who had also indicated that the thought Moussaouri was unusual.

Prevost, who is a retired airline pilot with more that 10,000 flight hours in a wide variety of aircraft, was subsequently interviewed regarding Moussaoui. Prevost is a contract employee of Pan Am who travels to Minneapolis in order to train students. He has been doing so for several years and characterized Moussaoui as unlike any other student with whom he has worked.

At the time Prevost was interviewed, Moussaoui had completed the ground school portion and performed one flight in a low fidelity simulator with him. Prevost was award that he had been schedule for several more sessions in the higher-fidelity simulators in the next few days. Prevost noted that although Moussaoui lacked aviation experience and knowledge, there were certain 747-400 systems in which has was particularly interested. Although Prevost himself brought the subject up, he indicated Moussaoui was extremely interested in the aircraft doors and their operation. Prevost indicated that Moussaoui seemed surprised to learn that the doors cannot normally be opened in flight because of the pressurization of the cabin of the aircraft.

The other system in which Moussaoui was interested was the Mode Control Panel (MCP). This is the portion of the aircraft’s avionics suite which controls the aircraft when flying in an automated mode and what allows the 747-400 Series aircraft to have a two-person flight crew as opposed to earlier models which required additional pilots. Prevost indicated that at the time they did their one simulator session, Moussaoui already knew how to operate the MCP from previous study. For information, Prevost indicated that the level of automation provided by the MCP gives the 747-400 the ability to fly, navigate and in some modes land in a fully automated manner.

Prevost stated that for his upcoming high=fidelity simulator sessions, Moussaoui advised that he would “love” to fly a simulated flight from Heathrow Airport in England, to John F. Kennedy airport in New York, to include performing all navigation and communications involved. He offered no explanation as to why he wished to do this. Prevost was also aware that Moussaoui was interested in booking, additional simulator sessions after he finished his currently scheduled syllabus.

Investigation by Minneapolis Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) Immigration and Natrualization Service (INS) Special Agents revealed the following information regarding Moussaoui and the individual believed to be traveling with him, Hussein Al-Attas:

- Moussaoui, a resident of the United Kingdom, traveling on French passport # AE27016, entered the U.S. at Chicago, Illinois on 02/23/2001 on a visa wavier. He traveled to Norman, Oklahoma shortly after this date, ostensibly for the purpose of taking flying lessons in Cessna aircraft. Under the terms of the visa waiver program, citizen of certain countries may enter the U.S. without applying for a visa, however they are allowed to remain in the U.S. for no more than 90 days from the date of entry. According the INS records, Moussaoui was admitted to the U.S. only until 05/22/2001 and was therefore in a overstay status and subject to arrest any time after his date.

- Al-Attas, a resident of Saudi Arabia, traveling on Yemeni passport # _____ is in the U.S. on a F1 (student) visa, first issued in 1995, Al-Attas indicated to INS that he is a student at the University of Oklahoma at Norman.

It was decided to arrest Moussaoui on the overstay violation in order to delay his receiving any further training on the Boeing 747-400 aircraft until he could be interviewed and his true intentions determined. He remains in INS custody as of this date pending deportation to his country of origin. When arrested, Moussaoui was armed with a small sheathed knife in his pocket and admitted that a larger folding-blade knife found under the seat of At-Attas’ car was his.

Following his arrest, Moussaoui’s property was brought from the hotel in which he was staying to INS storage at his request. Included among this was a laptop computer, cellular telephone and numerous spiral notebooks and 747 flight manuals. He denied requests for consent to search his property.

Subsequent interviews of both men and a consensual search of the effects of Al-Attas revealed the following:

- At-Attas, during an interview on the evening of 08/16/2001, described Moussaoui’s beliefs as having characteristics known to be consistent with those held by Radical Islamic Fundamentalists. He also admitted tha tMoussaoui, whom he knows as Shaqil, is preparing himself to fight and has, in the past, expressed approval of “martyrs.”

- During this same interview, Al-Attas indicated that Moussasoui believes that it is acceptable to kill civilians who harm Muslims. Al-Attas was also asked if he had ever heard moussaoui make a plan to kill those who harm Muslims and in so doing become a martyr himself. Al-Attas admitted that he may have heard him do so, but that because it is not in his own heart to carry out acts of this nature, he claimed that he kept himself from actually hearing and understanding.

- In a sworn statement signed on 08/17/2001, Al-Attas indicated that Moussaoui would harm “non-believers”, described as Jews and Christians, secretly if he believed they were harming Muslims.

- Moussaoui was unable to give a convincing explanation for his paying Pan Am 7- 8,000 for 747-400 training. Although he indicated that he ad completed approximately 50 hours of instruction at a flying school in Norman, Oklahoma, his level of aviation experience was in no way adequate to qualify him for this training. His continued insistence that this was indulging a desire for a “joy ride”, clashed with the seriousness with which he was studying and preparing and his anxiousness to return to this when releashed from INS custody. When arrested, he had among his belongings several Boeing 747-400 Flight Manuals and is believed to have been making provisions to acquire additional date regarding the operation of this type of aircraft through electronic means.

- Moussaoui had no convincing explanation for the large sum of money known to have been in his possession during his time in the United States. For information, upon arrival he is know to have opened a checking account with a deposit of $32,000 at a bank in Norman, Oklahoma. Moussaoui did not provide information of sufficient detail or specificity to allow Minneapolis to account for a legitimate source of this money. Minneapolis opines that Moussaoui’s income from his self-described employment as a freelance telemarketer in the UK would not be adequate to allow him to spend $ 8,300 for aviation training of no value to his stated goal of becoming a pilot. Although At-Attas indicated that his is aware that Moussaoui receives money from overseas via a bank in Norman, Oklahoma, he had no information as to the source.

- Moussaoui was likewise unable to convincingly explain a trip to Pakistan lasting from December 2000 until February 2001, initially informing Agents that is was for “personal reasons”. He later indicated that he was in Pakistan attempting to find a wife. Recipients will note that Moussaoui arrived in the U.S. only 16 days after leaving Pakistan, a country determined through other Minneapolis investigations to be a conduit for persons traveling to Afghanistan in order to provide or receive terrorist training and indoctrination.

- Minneapolis believes that Moussaoui and, to a lesser extent, Al-Attas, were deceptive in their answers regarding their reasons for being the U.S. and their involvement in terrorist activities. Further, Minneapolils is in possession of intelligence that Moussaouri is an Islamic extremist and believes that his training in the U.S. represents preparation for some future act in furtherance of these goals.

(U) Request of Minneapolis

Minneapolis requests authority be granted on an emergency basis by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court to conduct a search of Moussaoui’s personal property currently in INS custody, and for his residence at 209A Wadsack Drive, Norman, Oklahoma. Minneapolis wishes to emphasize the urgency of this matter in reminding recipients that Moussaoui is in INS custody pending deportation. Further, it is not yet known how far advanced Moussaouri’s plan is or how many unidentified co-conspirators exist.

PS: Which is why the FBI failed to go for FISA warrant then needed to sift through Moussaoui's laptop: It would have foiled 9/11.

EXCERPT...

(August 20, 2001 or after): Radical Fundamentalist Unit Delays Advising FAA of Moussaoui Case

At a meeting attended by Mike Maltbie of the Radical Fundamentalist Unit (RFU), RFU chief Dave Frasca, FBI agent Rita Flack, and an FAA representative who is familiar with the Moussaoui case, a decision is made not to advise the FAA about the Moussaoui investigation at this point because Moussaoui and Al-Attas are presumably in custody. (Al-Attas is bailed out of custody on August 20) (US Department of Justice, 11/2004, pp. 134, 149-150 pdf file; US Department of Justice, 3/1/2006 pdf file) Al-Attas is suspected of involvement in terrorism at this point and investigators believe he and Moussaoui may be involved in a plot against the US that involves the hijacking of an airplane (see August 17, 2001 and August 24, 2001). The FBI will eventually warn the FAA, but it will fail to mention that its Minneapolis office believes Moussaoui intends to hijack an airliner (see September 4, 2001).

SNIP...

September 4, 2001: FBI Dispatches Vague Message to US Intelligence Community About Moussaoui Investigation

FBI headquarters dispatches a memo to the entire US intelligence community summarizing what has been learned about Zacarias Moussaoui. The memo, written by Mike Maltbie, an agent in the FBI's Radical Fundamentalist Unit (RFU), reports that the FBI has become suspicious of Moussaoui because he took flight simulation training for a 747 jet, a course normally taken by airline pilots. Moussaoui, who has no flying experience, paid cash for the training, the memo also notes. It also says that Moussaoui has radical Islamic fundamentalist beliefs and has been linked to Chechen militants. However, the memo does not include a threat assessment or indicate that some FBI investigators believe Moussaoui is part of a yet unknown plot to hijack an airplane and use it in a terrorist attack. As a later congressional inquiry will report, the memo fails to "recommend that the addressees take any action or look for any additional indicators of a terrorist attack, nor (does) it provide any analysis of a possible hijacking threat or provide any specific warnings." (US Congress, 9/24/2002; US Department of Justice, 11/2004, pp. 175-6 pdf file) Several days earlier, Maltbie blocked the release of a memo from the FBI's Minneapolis field office that was addressed to the FAA and did contain a threat assessment (see August 29-September 4, 2001). When the FAA receives the FBI memo, it decides not to issue a security alert to the nation's airports in response. An FAA representative later explains to the New York Post, &quot Moussaoui) was in jail and there was no evidence he was connected to other people." (New York Post, 5/21/2002) The FBI memo contrasts sharply with an internal CIA warning sent out on August 24. That memo, which was based on less information, warned that Moussaoui might be "involved in a larger plot to target airlines traveling from Europe to the US" (see August 24, 2001). (US Congress, 9/18/2002) It turns out that prior to this time, al-Qaeda operative Ahmed Ressam had started cooperating with investigators. He had trained with Moussaoui in Afghanistan and will willingly share this information after 9/11. The FBI dispatch, with its notable lack of urgency and details, fails to prompt the agents in Seattle holding Ressam to question him about Moussaoui. Had the connection between these two men been learned before 9/11, presumably the search warrant for Moussaoui would have been approved and the 9/11 plot might have unraveled (see Late August-Early September 2001). (Sunday Times (London), 2/3/2002)

Former FBI agent says truth of 9/11 remains hidden

BBC 12 September 2011

A former FBI agent has told the BBC that he is being prevented from telling the truth about the events of 9/11 and what has happened since.

Ali Soufan alleges that crucial intelligence was not passed on from the CIA before the attacks in 2001.

He has written a book detailing some of his claims and has been speaking to the BBC's Security Correspondent Gordon Corera in his first on camera interview on the subject.

In response to the allegations in this report the CIA issued a statement to the BBC that said: "Any suggestion that the CIA purposely refused to share critical lead information on the 9/11 plots with the FBI is baseless."
