Holy Frack! what could possibly go wrong?

This is a backyard picture of the Mayflower, AR oil spill on that Exxon pipeline. The local authorities have denied the press access to these areas so few have actually seen the extent of the spill. This picture was taken by a friend's daughter who lives next door to this house.

This story is far more relevant to the Keystone XL pipeline.

Mar 2013

the line was carrying Wabasca Heavy crude from western Canada when it ruptured.
Wabasca Heavy is a type of diluted bitumen, or dilbit, from Alberta's tar sands region, according to the Canadian Crude Quality Monitoring Program, an industry source that provides data on different types of Canadian oil.
Bitumen extracted from tar sands has the consistency of peanut butter and must be diluted to flow through pipelines.

And you have your back yard paved for free....least I don't think the oil company would charge you for it, but I don't know.

The state will likely require the soil to be removed and all the tress and such in the middle will be removed as well. If the oil got under the foundation of the house, that may be condemned as well.

Every congress person who supports these pipelines should have to go to this person's house and apologize in person. Then they should have to wade thru this primordial ooze in their bare feet. Just like the dinosaurs in the La Brea tar pits.
