Even mildly? I don't think so. Will they even allow their guest to do so? So far I haven't seen it. In fact, on Sharpton's show it's been a pep rally for Obama's "courage" in proposing Social Security cuts. I can see Chris Hayes and Rachel both taking a very dry analytical and neutral tone. I don't see Lawrence as really coming out against it either.
But you know who would have hit the roof over this? Three guesses, and I think that's one reason he's gone from the weekday lineup.

(17,146 posts)I really hope you're right. Rachel, especially, is weak on economic issues, and Chris Hayes tries too hard to see all sides. But, as I say, I would love to be wrong.
Oilwellian
(12,647 posts)only the extremes from each side are against these cuts, and that puts Obama in the center where most people dwell. It's the finest bit of Orwellian Speak you're ever going to witness.

(23,664 posts)Of course he'll probably applaud Obama for seeing the light so maybe I won't watch him.
Actually I may tune in to Lawrence O'Donnell because I think he may be the one to criticize this dumbass proposal.
senseandsensibility
(17,146 posts)down in procedural details to the point that he misses the larger picture. As in doing what's right because it's right. At least that's my take on it.

(17,146 posts)not criticizing this on tweety. So disappointing.
